| Indent house | Indentor | انڈینٹ ہاؤس | An agent who arranges a sale between a foreign supplier and a local buyer for commission, without taking ownership of the goods. |
| Buying agent | Agen pembelian | خریداری ایجنٹ | Acts for the buyer: finds and verifies the supplier, inspects, and is paid by the buyer. |
| Bill of lading | Konosemen | بلِ لادنگ | The carrier's receipt for the cargo and the document of title. |
| Certificate of Origin | Surat Keterangan Asal | سرٹیفکیٹ آف اوریجن | Proof of where goods were produced. Required to claim tariff preference. |
| Phytosanitary certificate | Sertifikat fitosanitari | فائٹوسینٹری سرٹیفکیٹ | Confirms plant products are free of specified pests and diseases. |
| Halal certificate | Sertifikat halal | حلال سرٹیفکیٹ | Confirms the product and its production meet halal requirements. |
| Letter of credit | Letter of credit | لیٹر آف کریڈٹ | A bank undertaking to pay against compliant documents. |
| Minimum order quantity | Kuantitas pesanan minimum | کم از کم آرڈر مقدار | The smallest order a supplier will accept, usually one container. |
| Pre-shipment inspection | Inspeksi pra-pengapalan | پری شپمنٹ معائنہ | Independent check of quantity and quality before the container is sealed. |
| Port of loading | Pelabuhan muat | بندرگاہِ لدائی | Where the cargo is loaded onto the vessel. |
| Importer of record | Importir terdaftar | ریکارڈ درآمد کنندہ | The legal entity responsible to customs for the import, its duties and its compliance. |
| Transhipment | Alih kapal | ٹرانس شپمنٹ | Moving cargo from one vessel to another at an intermediate port. |
