HS headings shown at 4 and 6 digits. National tariff lines run to 8 digits and differ between Pakistan and Indonesia. Confirm your 8-digit line with your customs broker before you quote.

Tariff position

Preference under the Indonesia–Pakistan Preferential Trade Agreement applies to a listed set of tariff lines, not to whole HS chapters. Whether this product qualifies depends on your exact 8-digit national line and on a valid Certificate of Origin.

We do not publish a rate here, because a rate without your line number and its date is not usable. What to check, and where.

Price logic

We do not publish prices. Here is what moves the number, and when.

  • Pulp price and mill order book set the base. Indonesian mills are integrated, so pulp moves show up more slowly than in non-integrated markets.
  • Grammage and reel width drive trim waste, which is real money on a full container.
  • Certified fibre carries a premium. Decide whether you need the claim before you price the paper.
  • Pakistani duty and regulatory position on paper grades varies by heading. The 8-digit line matters here more than on most commodities.
