Regulatory registration

Getting a product legally saleable in Indonesia is usually slower than making it or shipping it. This is the part that decides your launch date.

Sold on its own. If you have found your own supplier or you are the manufacturer, we can do the registration work without any goods moving through us.

What we file

  • Halal certification through BPJPH, or registration of an existing foreign certificate through SHLN where your certifier is recognised. The two routes, with current fees and timings.
  • BPOM registration for processed food and supplements that need an ML number before retail distribution.
  • Supporting documents — free sale certificates, certificates of analysis, label artwork review against Indonesian requirements.

The sequencing that matters

  1. Establish whether your existing halal certifier is on the BPJPH recognition list. This one fact decides whether you are on a 30-working-day path or a three-to-six-month path.
  2. Confirm who will be the importer of record, because several obligations sit with them and not with you.
  3. Get label artwork right before production, not after. Reprinting is cheaper than relabelling a container.
  4. File. Then build the lead time into your first shipment's price rather than your third's.
Medical devices

AKL registration for medical devices with the Indonesian Ministry of Health is a different regime and we have not begun it. We will say so rather than take the work. See surgical and dental instruments.
